MIM forces graft debate in AP Assembly

MIM forces graft debate in AP Assembly

The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen on Tuesday succeeded in forcing a debate on corruption, particularly on the Supreme Court notices to ministers and IAS officers, in the Assembly. The House will take up the debate on March 28.

MIM Floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, using his tact, made Telugu Desam president N.Chand-rababu Naidu retract on his earlier strategy to register a mere protest and demand a full-fledged debate. He also put the government in a tight spot and forced it too to agree for the debate. Mr Owaisi turned tables against Mr Naidu, by saying that the TD chief has lost focus on the main issue of corruption in his pursuit to settle scores with the MIM.

"Don't let go of your earlier demand for a debate," he told Mr Naidu, who had no choice but to revive his demand of full-fledged debate. Though he did not name Kadapa MP Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy by name, the Majlis leader alleged that the government had been indirectly protecting a "gentleman" who amassed wealth of crores of rupees. "It is in this gentleman's assets case that the court issued notices to ministers," Mr Owaisi said.

He wanted the government to clear the air about the legal validity of the contentious GOs. "Do you agree that the gentleman made money? If so, with whose support did he make it? If you agree that the money is made illegally, why are you not coming out openly," Mr Owaisi questioned the Treasury benches. The two-hour long discussion on whether to allow a debate on corruption saw interesting twists and turns. At one stage, the onus of holding the debate lay on Speaker N. Manohar as the CM expressed willingness to reply if the Chair permitted discussion as per rules.

The Speaker later convened a meeting of the Business Advisory Comm-ittee and decided to take up the issue for discussion one day before the end of the Budget session.

The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen celebrated 50 years of its presence in the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday. Speaker Nadendla Manohar, Chief Minis-ter N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu and leaders of various political parties greeted MIM Floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi on the occasion. Late Sultan Salahu-ddin Owaisi, who headed the AIMIM for long, was elected to the Assembly on February 19, 1962 from 216-Pathergatti costituency in Hyderabad.

In his maiden election, the senior Owaisi trounced his Congress rival Masooma Begum, who was a minister in the Neelam Sanjiva Reddy Cabinet, by a margin of 5,141 votes. At 26 years of age, Mr Owaisi, who later was referred to as Salar-e-Millat, was one of the youngest members of the Assembly in 1962.

"From just one member in this august House five decades ago, today, we have seven members, apart from two members in the Legislative Cou-ncil," Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi said. On the occasion of Golden jubilee celebrations in the Assembly, the AIMIM hosted lunch to for all the legislators in the Assembly premises. Besides the leaders of all the political parties, legislature secretary Raja Sadaram and legislature officials attended the luncheon and congratulated Mr Owaisi.

AURAT

Agar beti hai toh rehmat

Agar biwi hai toh shohar ka nafs imaan

Agar maa hai toh uske khadmo mein jannat

Last Friday, Imam of our Masjid during Qutba mentioned a Sahi hadeeth Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas which
I like to mention here:
Allah's Apostle said, “I also saw the Hell-fire and I had never seen such a horrible sight. I saw that most of the inhabitants were women."
The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Why is it so?" The Prophet replied, "Because of their ungratefulness."
They asked whether women are ungrateful to Allah.
The Prophet said, "They are ungrateful to their companions of life (husbands) and ungrateful to good deeds. If you are benevolent to one of them throughout the life and if she sees anything (undesirable) in you, she will say, 'I never had any good from you.' "

Our Imam went on to say - Let's not forget what our Prophet had advised men " The BEST of you are those who are the BEST with their wives......"( Tirmidi) So we must understand both men & women have rights over each other. He went on to quote- Qur'an says
"Among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you may dwell in tranquility with them and He has put love and mercy between your hearts: verily in that are signs for those who reflect."  (Surah Al Rum 30:21.)

Two days later incidentally I received an Email from my niece. This is one such mail that changed whole prospective on women-

" In Arabic the world "shams" (sun) is feminine, and "qamar" (moon) is masculine. The sun burns itself out to give light and life to everything around, and the moon is muneer, meaning it reflects the light. Within itself moon has no light; it only radiates the brilliance of the sun. So when we shine as men, the implication is that men are reflecting the glorious efforts and light of our women."
Noor AhamedNassau

‎"If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person. If there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the house. If there is harmony in the house, there will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world." Chinese Proverb.

English Translation:

Say : "O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things.

You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter into the night , You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give wealth and sustenance to whom You will, without limit (measure or account).

‎((( A Rainy Miracle )))

‎((( A Rainy Miracle )))

Narrated Anas: A man came to the Prophet on a Friday while he (the Prophet) was delivering a sermon at Medina, and said, "There is lack of rain, so please invoke your Lord to bless us with the rain.

" The Prophet looked at the sky when no cloud could be detected. Then he invoked Allah for rain. Clouds started gathering together and it rained till the Medina valleys started flowing with water. It continued raining till the next Friday. Then that man (or some other man) stood up while the Prophet was delivering the Friday sermon, and said, "We are drowned; Please invoke your Lord to withhold it (rain) from us" The Prophet smiled and said twice or thrice,

"O Allah! Please let it rain round about us and not upon us." The clouds started dispersing over Medina to the right and to the left, and it rained round about Medina and not upon Medina.

Allah showed them (the people) the miracle of His Prophet and His response to his invocation.

" The Pious Husband 1st Part - The Husband As The Rular " "

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem
Assalam Alaikum Wa Rahmath Ullahi Wa Barkatahu

The Pious Husband
 Mujlisul Ulama Of South Africa

1 - The Husband As The Rular

"Men Are The Rulers Over Women Because Allah Has Bestowed Ranks To Some Of Them Above Others And Because They(Men) Spend Of Their Wealth ( For The Maintenance Of Women) "
(Surah Nisa :34 )

He Is in Charge Of Executing The Affairs And Operation Of The System Which Has Been Entrusted To Him.
Just As A Community Or A Nation Requires A Ruler For Proper And Efficient Functioning Of The Affairs Of Society
So Too Does The Home Unit Stand In Need Of A Ruler To Ensure That The Home Affairs Progress Smoothly And Correctly Along The Divinely-Ordained Pattern,
Direct By The Shariah. The Man In The House Has, Thus Been Appointed The Ruler Or Overseer.
While Islam Has Bestowed Many Rights To Women, The Quran-E-Hakeem Confirms His Superior Rank And Announce His Appointment As The Ruler Of Women.

His Appointment As The Ruler Of Women is Not A Licence For Misdirecting Authority.

He Elevated Rank is Not Permission For Violating, Denying And Neglecting The Rights (Huqooq) Which Islam Orders For Women And Children.

The Husband is Not Allowed To Adopt A Bullying Attitude. He Does Not Enjoy The Right To Impose On His Wife His Unlawful Wishes, Whims And Fancies Just As He Desire And In Anyway He Feels.

Rasool Allah PBUH Said :
" Everyone Of You Is A Shepherd And Everyone Of You Will Be Questioned About His Flock ".

The Husband is The Shepherd Of His Home. On The Day Of Qiyamah He Will Have To Answer In The Divine Court How He Treated His Flock.

" That Day Will Be A Day When A Man Will Flee From His Brother, His Mother, His Father, His Wife, And His Children. "

Ya Allah !
surely we have heard a preacher calling to the faith,
saying: Believe in your Lord, so we did believe;
Ya Allah !
 forgive us therefore our faults,
and cover our evil deeds and make us die with the righteous.

Ya Allah !
grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter,
and save us from the chastisement of the fire.
Ya Allah !
Accept From Us ;
Surely Thou Art The Hearing, The Knowing
